What Step-Sister's Secret is about

Step-Sister's Secret is a five-episode Candy Shorts drama about a woman who cannot stop thinking about the man living under her mother's roof. The lead, Kenzie Whitaker, is an adult, and so is everyone else in the household, stepsister included.

Her fix is therapy, and it backfires. Her therapist, her mother and both sisters all turn out to be a step ahead, treating his desire as a script they have already read. The suspense is less about whether something happens and more about who is steering it.

Before you watch

Episode 1 plays free with no account, and episode 2 is free once you sign up for a Candy account. Episodes 3 to 5 cost 12 tokens each, or come with Premium, and anything you unlock stays yours.

It suits viewers who like a slow-burn setup and a cast that schemes together instead of a single straight romance. When an episode ends, Candy lets you chat with Kenzie. For the full rundown of what costs nothing, see the free-episode guide.

Every Candy Shorts character is also a chat companion on Candy.ai. After an episode you can keep the story going one-on-one.
