Candy Shorts Review: Is It Safe, Legit and Worth the Price?

The short verdict

Candy Shorts is a real, official section of Candy.ai, and it is not a scam. It is also a freemium product: episode 1 and episode 2 cost nothing, and the rest of each story is paid.

It is worth a try if you are an adult who likes short, steamy, taboo-flavored vertical dramas and you do not mind paying to finish the ones you like. Skip it if you expect whole seasons for free.

Who it suits:

• Adults who like quick, phone-sized stories where the tension builds fast.
• Anyone who wants to sample first, since episode 1 plays without an account.

Who should skip it:

• Anyone hunting for free full episodes, downloads or an “uncensored” version. None of those exist.
• People who dislike token systems or plans that renew automatically.
• Anyone who is not looking for adult content. This is for adults only.

We are an independent guide, not Candy.ai. Every Candy link on this site is an affiliate link, so we may earn a commission, and the verdict above stays the same either way.

What you actually get

Candy Shorts is the mini-series section of Candy.ai, the AI companion platform. Each series is a short vertical drama made for phones and generated with AI, so every character is fictional and an adult.

Episodes are brief. Episode 1 of the series we sampled runs about a minute, and most series have 5 episodes, with a few stretching to 6, 7, 9, 10, 15, 30 or 34.

Right now the catalog holds 186 series: 169 standard and 17 Spicy, with 20 wearing Candy's “New” badge. The themes are adult taboo romance, from stepsister and stepmom stories to girlfriends' mothers, wives, bosses, maids and a few fantasy settings. Curious how steamy it gets? Is Candy Shorts porn? explains the split between standard and Spicy.

A few extras help. Subtitles exist in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese on the series we checked, with dubbed audio in several. After an episode, Candy invites you to chat with the lead character, also an AI companion on Candy.ai.

Some series are digital twins: AI recreations of real adult performers. The twin is generated from the performer's likeness, and the real performer did not shoot the scenes. Browse them all in the full series list.

The free tier in practice

Episode 1 of a standard series plays without an account. Episode 2 is free once you create a free Candy account.

Episode 3 onward is unlocked with Premium or tokens: 12 tokens per episode on regular series, 30 on digital-twin series. An unlocked episode stays yours, in HD.

On a typical 5-episode series that means 2 episodes free and 3 paid. The free pair is a teaser, and you will not reach the ending without paying.

Spicy series are the exception: they have no free episodes at all, and they stay hidden from visitors who are not signed in. Our free episodes guide shows the honest free route step by step.

What it costs, in short

These prices are a snapshot from Candy's subscriptions page on October 26, 2026. They change, and the checkout shows your final price.

• 1 month: $9.99 for the first month, then $13.99 a month.

Is Candy Shorts safe and legit?

From what we can check, yes. Candy Shorts lives on Candy.ai itself, at candy.ai/candy-shorts, and you pay at Candy's own checkout.

Watch and pay on Candy.ai only. Candy Shorts streams there and nowhere else, so any other site offering it is a repost or a lookalike.

• Use the official Candy.ai page of the series and check the address before you type in card details.
• Candy's page says “Cancel any time.” Plans renew automatically, so set a reminder a few days before your renewal date.
• Ignore “free token generators” and “unlock everything” tools. Candy offers nothing like that, and pages that ask for your login to run one are a red flag.
• Stay away from lookalike domains and unofficial downloads.

Is Candy Shorts a scam?

No. A scam hides what it sells, and Candy is upfront: episode 1 is free, episode 2 needs a free account, and the rest costs Premium or tokens.

Here it is plainly. Free: episode 1 and, with an account, episode 2. Paid: episode 3 onward, every Spicy episode, and digital-twin episodes at the higher 30-token rate.

“Leaked” or “full episodes free” clips are not a workaround either. There is no official free full-season option, and clips on Reddit, tube sites or Telegram are reposts: mostly episode 1, teasers or screen recordings, often cut, watermarked or bundled with spam. Our leaks page has the details.

What Reddit-style threads keep asking

We do not quote anyone here, but the same few questions tend to come up whenever Candy Shorts is discussed in forum threads.

• What is the price after the discount? The headline $3.99 a month is the 12-month plan, billed $47.88 per year. On a 1-month plan you pay $9.99 first, then $13.99 a month.
• Can I get more free episodes? Not officially. Episode 1 is free and episode 2 is free with an account. That is the whole free allowance.
• Why can't I see the Spicy ones? They are hidden until you sign in, and they are Premium or tokens only, with no free episode. See the Spicy collection.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Episode 1 plays without an account, so trying it costs nothing.
• Unlocked episodes stay yours, in HD.
• The 12-month plan works out to $3.99 a month.

Cons

• Only 2 free episodes on a typical 5-episode series.
• Digital-twin episodes cost 30 tokens, 2.5 times the regular 12.
• Plans renew automatically, and the 1-month plan climbs to $13.99.
• Spicy series have no free episodes.
• No official download and no free full-season option.

Best series to start with

Pick a standard 5-episode series so 2 episodes are free. Four places to begin:

• Not Under My Roof: a cancelled bachelor party and a mother-in-law with a very different plan for the night. Regular 12-token episodes.
• My Bachelor Gift Was My Fiancée's Mom: no party on the schedule, but one secret arranged by the fiancée's mother. Regular 12-token episodes.
• My Step-Sister's Dormitory: a digital-twin series about a weekend visit to his adult stepsister, played by an AI twin of Riley Reid. The real performer did not shoot the scenes, and episodes cost 30 tokens.
• Tori's Broken Vows: a Spicy marriage drama with a cuckold twist and our most searched title. It has no free episodes, so save it for when you have Premium or tokens.
