What Madison: My Dad's Best Friend's Daughter is about

A ticking clock sits under Madison: My Dad's Best Friend's Daughter. Madison Pier moves into the attic for a three-month exchange, and she is an adult exchange student, like everyone else in the story. Ryan, the son of the house, feels the spark almost at once.

The twist lands out of nowhere: Ryan's girlfriend phones to say she will be home tomorrow. From there it is a question of how much can happen, and what can be hidden, before she walks in. Few setups put a deadline on a secret so neatly.
