What Hey, Loser is about

Hey, Loser follows Rose Edwards, a confident, popular woman who shares an apartment with a socially awkward roommate. Both are adults, and one of them has figured out how much power a well-timed smile gives her.

At first it is harmless teasing. Over time it becomes an emotional game, with attention handed out and withdrawn and the roommate chasing it. The setup runs on power and approval rather than a simple romance, and Candy tags it Cuckold and Nympho. The pull of the story is that neither of them is sure who is really in control.
